2004 Mitsubishi Evo 8 camera car, “RUSH” “The Bourne Ultimatum”.£POA

I’m delighted to offer this stunning and interesting Special series Mitsubishi Evo 8 FQ330 ( No 093 ) high speed pursuit camera car that has used on many famous film productions TV and documentary etc including……
“The Bourne Ultimatum”.
“Rush” the Hunt Lauda film
“Top Gear”
“the Grand Tour”
‘Ferrari” works film in Sicily
‘Aston Martin “
kimi Raikonens DTM film in Spa
And many more

It’s painted non reflectively Matt black to eliminate reflection. Actually it was standard black gloss and was sprayed a Matt lacquer, this fantastic example was transported to its film location in its own covered trailer and always dry stored and very well maintained and has covered only 35,500 miles from new
The car was bought from an Evo agent who I believe had lent the car to Camilla Parker Bowles ( now our Queen ) for her to do an article in a trendy magazine. So there is some pre filming history.

None of the camera mounts come with it, of course. It’s modified only with a vertical E post inside in the rear with a monitor for the camera operator. That’s removable.
It has a hole in the rear of the body for all of the electrical cables to go through, that  can be blanked off. On the roof it has two right angle extrusions for bracing the fore and aft camera mounts. These can easily be removed and grommets can be fitted to still allow access for the future. It uses the hugely expensive Pursuit post and beam system from the USA. All the equipment is rented. There are other camera systems that can be made to fit. These days it’s uses are really only high speed chases front and rear. . Drone technology does the rest.
This really is a rare and collectible part os film and motoring history and would look fantastic in a collection or be used for film and television or simply as a fun road car with amazing history and provenance
